In today’s episode of Bajaj playing Russian roulette with the Pulsar lineup, it is the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N125’s turn this time as it has been spied testing for the first time!
From the spy shots, we can see that the bike gets a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup along with a front disc and rear drum brake setup. The alloy wheel design is the same as that of the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 but the rest of the design and the chassis is based on the Bajaj Pulsar N150. Hence it gets the similar aggressive looking LED headlight design and the sleek and sharp design lines all over.
The handlebar is taller than that of the Pulsar N150 and the upcoming bike will likely get the same LCD instrument console as the recently updated NS125 with Bluetooth connectivity but no turn-by-turn navigation. The engine is expected to be the same 124.45cc, single-cylinder mill found in the NS125.
The introduction of the Pulsar N125 should help Bajaj freshen up the 125cc lineup as the NS125’s design has been around for a long time now without any changes. The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N125 is expected to get a price tag of about Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it below the Pulsar NS125 in the lineup. This price tag will help the Bajaj Pulsar N125 better compete with the TVS Raider 125 and the Hero Xtreme 125R in the highly competitive sporty 125cc segment. The upcoming bike will probably be launched around October 2024.
